Refunds

If you decide not to move forward after the Design stage, your deposit can be refunded minus a design fee that reflects the time spent on drawings and consultations. The design fee amount will be determined at my discretion based on the work completed.

Once materials have been purchased for your project, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Materials will not be ordered until the design is finalized and you’ve provided approval to proceed to the Build stage.

Lifetime guarantee

I stand behind everything I make. Each piece is guaranteed for life against defects in materials or craftsmanship. If something ever goes wrong, I’ll make it right.

If an issue comes up, send me an email with a photo or video so I can see the problem clearly. I’ll assess what caused it and decide on the best way to address it: repair, replacement, or otherwise. My goal is always to keep the piece functioning and looking as it should for as long as you own it.

This guarantee doesn’t cover:

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, or exposure to harsh environments (like moisture, direct sun, or extreme temperatures). Wood is a natural material, and normal wear according to its use, slight movement of joints, and changes to the wood's color over time are all to be expected.

  • Functional hardware such as drawer slides and cabinet door hinges. I use high-end hardware designed to perform a minimum of 100,000 open/close cycles (for drawers) or 200,000 cycles (for hinges). In the rare event of a failure, these are typically easy and inexpensive to replace.

  • Other materials such as leather or upholstered cushions, will naturally wear over time and may eventually need to be replaced at the end of their lifespan.

  • Integrated lighting or any other electronic components.
